...Now we come to our last study of the Holy Spirit as we give further consideration to his relation to the Church. A truth not always recognized by the believer is that while there is oneness of essence and equality of persons in the Godhead, there is an order of function as to the manifestation and operation of our Triune God. There is an order of office that in no way reflects inferiority. So, evangelicals have referred to the Godhead, and I believe very properly so. In this way the Father is the owner, the Son is the head, and the Holy Spirit is the administrator.
