Today's text comes from the first book of the Bible Genesis chapter 7 verse 1 where the Lord said unto Noah Come thou and all thy house into the ark for thee Have I seen righteous before me in this generation. If anyone in biblical history deserves a Father's Day award it must be Noah. He lived a holy life in the midst of one of Earth's unholiest hours. He built a boat long before anyone had seen a drop of rain. And more importantly he saved his entire family from destruction which ultimately came upon an unbelieving world.
