Abstract
Te Passover controversies form an important part of the story of church history, especially in shaping the relationship of the Church with the Jewish community. This chapter will provide an overview of only a few of the more notable controversies related to the Feast in relation to the Church’s attitudes and actions. Tree examples have been selected: the Quartodeciman debate, the Novellae of Justinian I, and the blood libels.
