Description

...Paul's not afraid of dying. And what is he worried about? He's worried about the bozos and the bozarenas that are going to carry on the Great Commission after he leaves. He's worried about people like you. He's worried about people like Timothy. Now, Timothy was kind of like you. I mean, he always needed to get pumped up. Look at this. 2 Timothy, chapter one. Paul says, Timothy fan into flame. Verse six. Fan into flame, buddy. The gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of hands. He came from a Christian home. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline. So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord or ashamed of me, his prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the Gospel. You see, Timothy was having the same kind of problems that many of you are having, thinking maybe this Christianity is not really it.
