Description
But the normal Christian life will meet-lead most of you to sacrifice but not sacrifice for sacrifice's sake, sacrifice so that you can behold His glory. Glory as of the only begotten Son of the Father, full of grace and truth. We do not have lent for lent's sake, but so that we may be better prepared for the joys of Easter. Good Friday is not for its own sake, but because of the resurrection. And so strangely enough, what we are called to in this normal Christian revival will not be a revival that leads us to be unable to do our work, to do our studies, to be friends and acquaintances. But it will lead us to be better friends and better husbands and better wives and better fathers and mothers and students. It will lead us to the most normal life of all, the life of the whole soul dedicated to Jesus Christ.
