Omniscience of God, The
The omniscience of God, the idea that God knows everything, is a concept found in scripture, which is underscored repeatedly by both authors in the Old Testament and the New Testament. Listen to me as I read from Psalm 139, "Oh, Lord, You have searched me, and You know me. You know when I sit down and when I arise. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out, and my lying down. You're familiar with all of my ways, before a word is on my tongue, You know it completely, oh, Lord. You hem me in behind and before. And You have laid Your hand upon me."
