He is not an influence, not simply a power. He's not an "it." The Holy Spirit is God. He is a real person. Personal pronouns are used of him. He's the God that was active in creation as well as redemption. He was involved in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He has mighty power. He is greater than the enemy. We're talking God here. The Holy Spirit is God.
