What we're going to do in the bulk of the time that we have is we're going to look at three chapters in Exodus. These maybe are the three most important chapters in the Exodus event. They're very, very significant. Where they come in the Book of Exodus is that you have in the beginning chapters, the experience of oppression and God hearing and beginning to work and the plagues in Egypt and then the Passover and then the deliverance, and then to the foot of Sinai. So you get to chapter 19, and you have the God of Covenant, who, having revealed himself as the God of Covenant, then calls the people to receive, respond to the Covenant.
