What is vision? Every great work and every great person who has done anything for Jesus Christ has come underneath the influence of a vision. Vision is the ability to focus on God's plan for the world while anticipating his power working through you to accomplish that plan. It is a focus on God's plan, and that is the gospel. That has been his plan from the very beginning. That will be his plan from the until the very end is that his plan for the world is the fact that he sent his son, Jesus Christ, all God and all man into this world, sacrificed him on the cross, came back alive to offer us life eternally life abundantly, to offer us joy, love, to offer us peace and offer us a hope within our dysfunction and in our pain.
