What was the primary leadership emphasis in the Old Testament for women? It was in the home. The primary role for women in the Old Testament was that of being a mother and a nurturer. And you know what? In our culture, when you talk about being a mother, we laugh at that. We scorn that. We ridicule that. I've talked to very, very intelligent women have master's degrees. My wife's written a best selling book...Somebody has to be a servant. God is looking for men and women who will decide what's best for them and be servants. There's a pattern in the Old Testament of leadership, of servant leadership.
