...Some of the most profound lessons that you learn may not take place in the context of a chapel, or some other formal presentation or seminar. Some of the most profound life issues you will deal with here at Biola have to do with your interpersonal relationships. That is, dating, courtship, love, perhaps for some of you even marriage. Those are the kinds of life issues that will stay with you much, much longer than an exam or research paper that you turn in. And it is for the-that particular reason, that it is important that you think through and be very deliberate about your expectations of love, and courtship, and marriage. It is important to think through in advance what it is you're looking for in terms of character qualities of that spouse, that-that perfect mate that God will bring along your path.
