What I want to talk about this morning is when God says "Wait."...Well, God's not in a hurry. In fact He says Wait. I am convinced that waiting is one of the most important aspects of our Christian journey. It's where we learn so much, it's where God can do so much in our lives. It's one of the most important aspects in our lives and yet it's the one that we don't want to do. Would you turn please, to Isaiah chapter 40. Isaiah chapter 40. This might be a familiar passage for you, and it's a little different in various translations. I am reading from the NIV translation. Isaiah 40 vs 31.
