I want you now, please, to open your Bibles to John chapter 8 verse 12. Now in John Chapter 12, Chapter 8 and verse 12, you'll find recorded these words, "then spake Jesus again unto them saying I am the light of the world. He then followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." You know that from a human standpoint this is an amazing statement.

Now this is in John's gospel, and you know that the purpose of John's gospel is to prove that Christ is the eternal Son of the eternal God. That is, He is one with the Father. And that's the reason why, you have in John's Gospel, more statements recorded about what Christ said of Himself than in any of the other Gospels.
