  • Is the Virgin Birth in the Old Testament? by Charles Lee Feinberg

Is the Virgin Birth in the Old Testament?

    Charles Lee Feinberg

The truth of the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ is so inextricably interwoven with the events of redemption history, that he is living in a fool's paradise who thinks he can deny this truth, and yet have a viable and workable faith for this life and that which is to come. Judaism to this hour discounts this truth, but it does so without the warrant of the Scriptures and with irreparable harm to itself and its adherents. The author desires that many of the house of Israel may read and heed the implications of the truths herein set forth, to the salvation of their souls in Jesus their Messiah and Saviour.

    Non-Christian Religions: A Comparative Study

    Ione Lowman

This is a study of non-Christian religions. It is a comparative study only in that certain doctrines will be considered in each religion studied. Each religion is presented simply, with as little philosophical terminology as possible, that students without any previous study of philosophy may still obtain sufficient understanding of the religious thinking of unregenerate man to sympathetically present the gospel to the unsaved of their chosen fields.

  • How Can God Exist in Three Persons? by Vernon McGee

How Can God Exist in Three Persons?

    Vernon McGee

...THE TRINITY DEFINED First, the definition of the Trinity. What do we mean by the Trinity? We mean three Persons in the Godhead. There are two extremes that we need to avoid. They are like Scylla on one hand and Charybdis on the other, and we need to sail our little bark between them. There is the danger, when speaking of the Trinity, to have in mind three Gods. That is a false concept. There is the other extreme of going to the opposite side by holding that the one God has expressed Himself in three different ways, which is also false. This error is known as modal-Trinitarianism, and was thoroughly answered by some of the giants of the Faith whom we have already named.
