Abstract

The article presents a discussion of the 1997 painting "Pentecost," by Thai artist Sawai Chinnawong, adapted from the book "Renewing Christian Theology: Systematics for a Global Christianity," by Amos Yong and Jonathan A. Anderson. Topics explored include the way Chinnawong depicted the presence of the Holy Spirit in the said artwork, the way he incorporated the feast of the Pentecost in his Buddhism-themed painting, and his significant interest and membership to the Christian church.
