Abstract

This paper attempts to describe the relationship between the laws of nature and the believer’s union with Christ through the Holy Spirit. The relationship is expounded in such a way as to provide intellectual and experiential motivation for mathematicians and scientists. The link is made by supporting and connecting the following three premises: (1) The divine nature is so impressed upon the world through the laws of nature that the natural mind both recognizes it, and seeks to understand and use it for gain. (2) The spiritual mind obtains a deeper understanding of the divine nature, namely its origin and identity. Furthermore, (3) the spiritual mind is even beckoned to become a partaker of the divine nature.
