Abstract

Well, tonight, you see what we want to talk about, uh, the heart of Christian spirituality, falling for God. If Jesus came to our world, came to turn our world right side up, why so many of his followers continue to live such upside-down lives? And if Jesus came to plant love and joy and peace, why did so many of us grow anger and depression and anxiety? And why is it that survey after survey reveals so little difference between professing Christians, even conservative evangelical Christians, and the world?
