Abstract
My topic tonight is The Role of Community in Spiritual Formation. Maybe the alternate title for the talk would be The Role of the Supernatural Community, Miraculous Community, the kind of community that is literally impossible to those without the Spirit of Christ. Perhaps that’s why our churches – to whatever degree there is weakness perhaps can be attributed to the lack of community that makes the world take notice and say “I don’t get it! How’d you pull that off?”
