Integrating our faith

I'd like to sketch for you three Narramore: Integration Our Faith Page 6 of 16 different ways of looking at Christian thinking very briefly. One is that we're Christian we have our Bible classes over here we have our Christian community we have our chapel. And over here we have our academic studies. This is what we can call a parallel way of thinking. A second way is what we might call a conflictual way in which we actually have a tendency to set our biblical thinking over and against the thinking of our disciplines as though somehow there is an inherent conflict. Then a third way of Christian thinking or thinking about Christianity and in the scriptures and other disciplines is what I call a reductionist way of thinking in which we try to reduce everything to a biblical way of thinking.
