Title
Living for Something Bigger
Description
I think the change in how people see the purpose of life has shown itself in two areas. A tenfold increase in depression had taken place in one generation, and I'm convinced that your generation is even more depressed just as a daily life than I am. People have stopped trying to live for something bigger than they are, and instead, they spend all of their time living for themselves.
Second shift. When you're preoccupied with yourself, today, the thing you should be concerned about is whether you are happy. Not only does your generation and mine spend most of its time thinking about itself, but when it thinks about itself, it worries whether or not it's happy.
