Title
Resisting the Temptation of Moral Formation
Description
But I want to talk about a peculiar temptation. And it's what I call the moral temptation. The moral temptation. And here's what I mean by the moral temptation. It's the attempt of the heart to try to perfect one's self in the power of the self. Or get this, it's the attempt to use service. It's the attempt to use ministry. It's the attempt to use prayer, it's the attempt to use all of these things, being good, as the way to deal with your failure, and the feelings of shame and guilt that we experience even in the Christian life.
