There is this growing decay among even Christians wherein they don't really appreciate the word of God. You don't really want the word of God. In fact it is almost a thundering fulfillment of Paul's prophecy. Remember in 2nd Timothy when he said "The time will come when men will not endure sound doctrine but after their own lust shall they heap to themselves. Teachers having itching ears and they shell turn away their ears from the truth and shall be turned unto fables". I would suggest to you that we are living in that day and that is all the more reason why you and I as students and servants of God must be those who takes God's word serious!
