Principles in Dealing with Tension in the Ministry

This morning, I would like to share specifically on this conflict the tension that we all feel between our ministry and other responsibilities, particularly our family responsibilities. What I would like to do is share with you first two broad assumptions, then I want to talk about three specific principles, and then a few practical implications.
So first, I'd like to make two broad assumptions. And the first is that ministry and marriage should never be in conflict. Ministry and marriage should never be in conflict. The second broad assumption is that ministry and marriage are always in conflict.
