So if you could pull those out, we're going to be in Luke Chapter 18, Luke Chapter 18, and we're going to be looking at verses 18 through 30 in the time that we have this afternoon...But we're going to see that Jesus has a particular encounter with a rich man and they carry on a dialogue together. And then Jesus is going to have a discussion with the disciples about what just happened in that encounter. And he's going to try to explain to them certain eternal truths that apply not only to the rich man, to the disciples, to the crowd that surrounds them at the time, but also to our lives today.
