Abstract
Goetz misunderstands my central account of EE and how it relates to Lewis. Commendation Finally, Goetz rightly stresses an important aspect of Lewis' ethical thought I leave somewhat obscure in "Pursuit," which is that Lewis' understanding of human life and its ultimate end goes beyond what is merely moral.
