The Torrey Memorial Bible Conference started in 1936. It is name in honor of Biola’s first dean, R.A. Torrey. The conference is a three day event dedicated to student’s spiritual growth. Every year a specific topic is chosen that is geared towards the typical college student’s spiritual needs. Sessions are taught by some of Biola’s outstanding faculty, as well as godly men and women students would not normally hear in chapel.
