Beloved, I want to talk with you today about a false impression that people have in regard to forgiveness. It seems to be the thought of a great many people that all you have to do to get God's forgiveness is to confess that you did wrong. And that seems to permeate the minds and hearts of multitudes of people, not only in this country, but in foreign countries. And in order to gain God's favor, you just confess that you've done wrong. Either go right to God and confess it, or you go to some Christian leader and confess it.
